Tuscany Chassis ConstructionQuality construction starts with the chassis. And Tuscany uses only the finest: a powerful Freightliner® chassis powered by a 350-hp Caterpillar® engine. No matter where you’re traveling, you will have more than enough muscle to ride in comfort. |
Tuscany Floor ConstructionA water-resistant, Structurwood® floor supports the living area in the motorhome. Framed in 1.5-inch welded-steel tubing, it is insulated with solid bead-foam insulation and protected with a galvanized underbelly, which resists rust and corrosion. The basement construction incorporates a strong, welded-steel truss system. This provides a full basement and massive pass-through storage compartments. |

Tuscany Sidewall ConstructionAll sidewalls are vacuum-bond laminated for added strength and rigidity. The lamination process eliminates soft walls, because it integrates all layers, turning them into one solid structure. All wall openings for doors, windows and other components are framed in aluminum tubing. This strengthens the coach body. The 5.5-inch welded aluminum header provides additional strength in slide room openings. Angled supports in the sidewall add further strength using the techniques perfected in bridge construction. |
Tuscany Roof ConstructionTuscany’s standard one-piece TPO roof is seamless, which means that it will remain virtually maintenance-free as long as you own your motorhome. It features an aluminum rafter support system with bowed rafters to maintain the roofs crowned shape. A crowned roof permits better water runoff, which helps to prevent leaks. It also increases the insulation factor, especially around air-conditioning channels. |
